RTIC Coolers

I ordered a 45 yesterday, and UPS tracking says it will be here tomorrow. That's fast! A little quicker turn around than the Atlas group buy!

I'm in the exact same boat. SHOCKED with how quickly it is scheduled to be here. Agree a lot quicker then what Ben Jones (Atlas) could deliver. LOL

You guys just cost me $139.00! The last thing I need is another cooler but for the price how could you pass it up.

Just ordered a tan 65 today for $139 and already have a tracking number. Suck it atlas coolers!!!

I ordered a 45 and 65 over Xmas and sold my Yeti and Engel...actually made money on the deal. Looks like I'm gonna break even now though because $139 for a 65 is so cheap I can afford not to get another one!

Also, FWIW, I ordered a basket for the 45 and 65 with my last order. The 45 basket fit great, the 65 was borderline to narrow to sit on the ledge. I called RTIC's customer service and they sent me a new one out that day free of charge, didn't even have to return the other one.

Keep dancing around these trying to decide between a 45 and a 65.

The 45 is a good size for food and drinks. The 65 works well for a quartered whitetail and still has room for a good bit of ice. Hope that helps

Appreciate the input! Those were my exact thoughts and I've looked at the Yeti 45 and 65 for comparison. Put this year's whitetail in dad's Yeti 65. For most of my use I feel like the 45 would do it. These are for sure first world problems. ;D

I went with a Canyon Cooler 35 (same size as the yeti 45) for everyday use/items and a Coleman Extreme I only use for meat.

I'm intrigued every time one of these sales comes up. I watched a review video a while back that basically concluded a coleman xtreme does just as good of a job as some of these "higher dollar" coolers. What am I missing? Having said that, I kinda want one though!

Durability, the colemans have week points in their hinges and are not bear proof.

Agree with what dotman says. Durability, and lid seals well. Just depends on what you're using the cooler for. If it's only once or twice a year for keeping meat cool on a drive home, or occasional drinks, any of them work well. For sitting on the boat in the 90 plus degree sun, a higher end cooler will work better imo.
