You can let all the air out of the insulation which helps stuff into a pack for the trip out and then re inflate for the trip home. Really beats buying all those cheap coolers to fly home with. Love mine. We bought one for an oryx hunt and have used it on 2 other hunts to pack meat back and also on trips where we fly in and get a rental as it works perfect for sodas and lunch stuff.
