I have considered one of these quality coolers for years but not at the prices they want. This price seems pretty incredible for a made in the USA product with pretty much excellent reviews for quality and service. Seem's like a heck of a deal. Thanks for the heads up.

I just got mine the other day. Took 4 days to get here from TX to AZ. Everything looks solid and I don't have any complaints. Seems like the things that people complained about were ridiculous. For instance the t-latches don't stay up when closing and they get smashed by the lid. I got the 65 and I'd buy another.

Thought it was made in China.

I have a Yeti 65 and have some friends that have the Rtic 65. I think the Rtic may have the edge over the Yeti. I got the Yeti as a gift and with all the positive reviews and info out there about the Rtics there is no way I would spend my money on the Yeti. At the current prices you can get 2 of the 65s and a 20 for the price of a Yeti. Thats a no brainer!!!

Thought it was made in China.

You are correct:

"Where are your coolers made?

Like other major competitors, RTIC products are made in China in order to provide the best quality at the lowest price to you, the consumer. Just like many of the outdoor products you will buy at your favorite sporting goods store; overseas manufacturing is a cost effective way for retailers to provide an affordable product to its customers."

I just ordered mine 1 hour ago, and received the shipping tracking number...couple days to receive.

It's the way of the world my friend, they are great coolers...they'll move the factory back to the USA after Mr.T is done with them :)

BTW: Yeti coolers for 3x the price

"Our Tundra coolers are manufactured in the USA at facilities located in Iowa and Wisconsin as well as at a facility located in the Philippines. Our Hopper coolers are manufactured in China."

What are they doing with there warranty? It was 7 years, then 30-days.

Not sure when but I read a thread where they changed the warranty period on their coolers a while ago. I have had 2 friends with experiences with their customer service and it was impressive!! If you find something wrong with the cooler they have taken care of the person. On the other instance I they had a 'price guarantee' where if prices dropped before xmas time they would make up the difference and they did. (credited their CC)

I'm happy with the cooler and most of all the price! I couldn't pass it up.. There are a couple threads in the 'deal forum' about it too.
