To add something constructive to this thread. This is the way I also see things working around here.

MHG was allowed to absolutely slaughter OGDramaLlama, Delete Member, AVB and a few I am probably missing but anytime a few people/companies get brought up, threads get shutdown pretty quick.

Now do I blame Mods/RS for doing it? No, not really.
Do I think it awfully convenient that there seems to be some "protection" for certain people/companies? Yes, yes I do.
Does it effect me or my life to a level that I am going to create a thread to complain about it? Nope.

Eventually one of two things will happen. It will become so obvious that this place has fallen inline with those that pay the bills that its nauseating and I will find a new forum to call home or it wont and in 15 years, I will be the old fart still hanging around.
You won't be known is the old fart, you'll be known as Daddy.

Anyone find it ironic that once the truth of Aron Snyder was called out by Frank, the mods swept it under the rug?

Frank came out and called out this exact problem. Then it was called out (paraphrasing here) oh while we appreciate two sides of a story this thread ran it's course...closed...

Come on boys, give me a break. Snyder has a track record regardless of what you choose to believe and runs through hunting partners like Epstein ran through "entertainment" on the "island".

Like it or not Snyder uses folks for personal gain and the departure from Kifaru is another data point. Guess, my notoriety in the "outdoor industry" is toast. Oh well, this is the crap we must self police...

If Rokslide were protecting forum sponsors, certain people, etc. they wouldn't shut threads down to still be searchable. They would delete them.

On another note. At one point, I used to associate myself with people in the industry that I thought I needed to be successful. Boy, was I wrong. A few years ago I disassociated myself with certain industry folks and focused on my business without needing collaborations, podcasts, etc. 50-70% annual sale increases year after year since then.

I am not trying to flex. The point I am trying to make is to focus on yourself. You will get more shit done.

Like several others above, I think the mods here do a good job of balancing threads to allow open discussion while keeping things from devolving into a cesspool.
