Last year I snagged a Kowa 553 here on RS and love it. However, I wished it had a rotating ring mount yet didn’t want to pay $50 for the Aziak or $120 for the Kestrel mount.
So, I snagged my calipers and started prototyping one in Tinkercad.
The results may not be as slick as the other options but only requires a .50 square 10-32 nut and a $1.50 1” 10-32 thumb screw and an optional washer.
I can send the STL file if anyone wants to print one. (I run tent cord through the hole in the center so I don’t lose the caps.)
