I appreciate the tip and I did look there, but the cheaper ones I saw didn't have good reviews as far as being waterproof. What brand did you buy and what kind of moisture were they exposed to? It rains ALOT in Alaska which is the first trip they will make.Honestly I would take a look at Amazon. I ordered some of the roll top style bags before my Colorado elk hunt last fall. Inexpensive and work great. Way cheaper than name brand.
Thanks for the info I appreciate it.This is a screenshot of Amazon. It does say I ordered a variation of this product so I don't remember what that was. Mine were 20L not 10L. I kept some extra clothes in my bag in case I got into some rain. Never did rain very hard so I can't say they were tested in extreme conditions. However I do not see how they could possibly leak. Seem like very good material.
I'm not trying to sell you on them as I have nothing to gain I was just making a suggestion but you do whatever you need to do to feel confident in alaska.
