Does anyone have an actual weight on the trimmed pachmyer vs a spacer with the stock pad vs the trim to fit limb saver? I want a longer LOP but not sure how I want to get there yet. I already have the trim to fit limb saver but the thing is like 5oz that I don’t really want to add.

The stock pad, spacers, and screws for 1" thickness was 3.8 ounces and the small Pachmayr before grinding was barely lighter, I think it was 3.6

I talked to UM yesterday. They had some QC issues with a batch from Stockys and had to send a bunch back. I'd imagine this is probably effecting lead times for a lot of orders (including mine).

As always UM was super helpful on the phone.

I don’t get why they are still going through Stockys for the lites. These would have sold 10x with any other stock maker capable of high yield production…

But probably would have put the price in line with everything else. 999 for a stock, 999 for an action, 999 for a scope, 999 for a can.

Order placed 93 days ago, received email few mins ago that it's "in production" at stockys. So it'll be 4 months overall likely. Not terrible, but all my McMillans have been under 3 months in last year and a half. Manners? Lol you could plan/execute a moon landing quicker than their typical lead times.

I never got an email either (December order) but asked about a change and the said it was in production already, so don’t read too much into lack of email.

I actually just got the email yesterday that my stock is in production at Stocky's. Day 113 since I placed the order.

Has anyone tried 3d printing an ultralight spacer that can be glued in and then reglue the pad onto that to save weight from the UM LOP kit? I was thinking of trying this instead of ordering a lop kit but not sure I want to

I didn’t glue it, just got longer screws. Works great.

I like it! Are they screwed on now when you order without the LOP kit? I think they used to be glued on.

Mine is a lefty Tikka and it should have arrived at UM for last week. I chose not to bother Cody until after Hunt Expo as I'm sure they were all buried preparing for that.

Re-posting this here to get feedback, last time I tried it was right before a wood Rokstok pic was posted and it dominated the thread...

1. For those in this chat that are using the Rokstok for NRL Hunter matches, are you liking it for that application or wanting to move back to a chassis?

2. Has anyone dreamed of the idea of a Rokstock chassis format in metal, with front end being a full arca frame?
