RokStok

I just didn’t know if it was included in the price of the sponge or would require upgrade to the full versions option.

The way Stockys does their “carbon forest” and others quite tickles my fancy. Just a very basic partial sponge.

They have been totally cool to tweak how I want. I think sponge price is more about avoiding spraying vs exact specifics. Theyve also quoted me prices short of full custom to do stuff like sponge with tears and splatter like this. Just talk to Cody and tell him what you want.

I still love the look of this rifle's pattern and color scheme. Have it flagged for a future cerokote job at some point.

Do you know what specific colors those are? Look great with the SST tikka and gray Maven.

I bet I have it somewhere, I know I initially just specified the green and they recommended the brown fades. Il try and find the order sheet this weekend.

I’m at 119 days. Haven’t had an update from them in quite a while.
Same. It's not how long I wait, it is how deadlines are constantly missed and the lack of updates. If it's gonna actually be 180 days, say it up front. I would probably still buy one. I would rather plan for 180 dsys and be pleasantly surprised at 120, than the reverse.

It says cerakote adds 3-4 weeks to your order.

My last rokstok took 78 days to arrive at my house from order date. I got the email to confirm my cerakote colors on day 41. Cerakote and shipping took 37 days. This was an R700 stock not a Tikka so less demand and faster to produce.

One would think that they would have some leway built into that 120 days. Clearly not if your guy are already siting on 119. With the lite version coming on soon I wonder how bad that will effect the supply chain for guys that have orders that have already been in the hopper for the regular version. There seems to be too many irons in the fire.

I just did the math and I'm about the same. Early September order.

No updates since late October when they said they placed the order with Stocky's.
Wonder why they would wait a month to place the order... Also 120 days should mean 120days as in 4 months wait time not something left up to interpretation.

What industry do you work in that a quote of 120 days includes weekends and holidays?

What types of industries give quote timelines not including weekends and holidays? Honest question... I mean if I say 6 months there is 48 weekend days involved not to mention holidays. So should I expect to get my customer taken care of in 7.5-8 months? Is there some sort of special chart a customer should reference?

If I own a resturant and order equipment and am told that I will have it in 120 days should I correct the manufacture and say you actually mean 156 days because of weekends and holidays? Are we talking bank holidays or just major holidays like christmas? What if the manufacture doesnt celebrate xmas do we subtract a day?

No legitimate business removes days from a quote for holidays, weekends, etc.... and no one said UM is doing that, it was a weird suggestion that maybe that is why their time-frames are behind.
