RokStok

Yea if you want the 6CM I would do that for sure. You can even order the Tikka and have it shipped directly to him and he will rebarrel it and send it to you. At least I am pretty sure I saw him offer that.

I have one of his 6cm barrels and am very happy with it so far. Great guy to deal with.
X2, would recommend. Easy button. Drop it on a Peak 44 bastion for tikka and go shoot. The PB prefit on mine shows the smallest groups I’ve ever been able to print.

Buy a 6.5cm and shoot it for a while, then rebarrel. That's my plan. Bought the 6.5cm a few years ago and have slowly made it how I want, next step is 6cm barrel.
Alternatively, buy a 243 and shoot it for a while then rebarrel to 6cm. That's my plan so I can see 6mm performance on game for myself before spending the money on a prefit.

LS wild does offer actions as well, with free installation of a prefit. Unless you can find a cheaper donor, this seems like the easy button for getting a 6 creed barreled action ready to go.

Good to know regarding installing a barreled action. I would do that and drop it into the rokstok myself but tikka not currently offering a 6cm complicates things. I’m still considering between 6cm and 6.5cm but that’s not the discussion here. If I can get my hands on an action, going to LSwild might be what I do. Thanks yall

Just be aware that through luck of the draw you may get one of the ones that require a little work to fit. I've had two different carbon stocks from stocky's that would not accept a factory Tikka without some work. One of those was a rokstok. It was also the one that required the most work.

Yes. Let me rephrase. I had significantly more feeding issues in a 223 bravo with aics magazines than I ever have with the factory bottom metal and plastic 223 magazines.
Curious, did you ever solve this problem? KRG’s solution was loosen the buttstock, trigger guard and forearm from chassis and pushed together to remove slack. It did reduce slack, but didn’t solve the problem. MDTs solution was sort of like… we don’t really have issues. Seems to me the issue is mag latch needs to be a tiny bit higher to pull the back of the mag up and KRG should offer to switch out a taller mag latch, or make it adjustable. But maybe I’m expecting too much.

The solution is purpose built 223 mags, not hack job inserts. If I used a 223 CTR, I would get Waters mags for it. I haven’t seen a bunch of them used, but what I have was good and they will have the best chance to work.

Cool, I’m not familiar with Waters but I’ll get that way. Thanks Form.
