Same, highs for me. I traditionally run a pretty high optic with jaw weld VS cheek in general tho.

Mine already had sports match lows the way I had it set up. They seem too low for me but I can manage. My daughter likes it just fine so I may leave it alone. If I set another one up for me I will definitely try higher rings.

Should I add a pic or arca rail? (I am unsure if or what bipod I might want)
Paint: Included Sponge? Do I just put 1,2,3 or 4 in the Cerakote Specifications?
Also thinking of adding 2 QD cups.

Def want 2 qd cups opposite side of bolt. They make a rail that's arca and Pic, or make the single choice and get a bipod with a clamp that is dual compatible. I'd personally go picatinny if choosing one direction as most the lighter weight bipods are Pic, but def seeing more avaliable in arca these days.

They have several in house sponge paint schemes available, 8 choices that are numbered(others with names), or you can pick your own, provide the cerakote color codes, and whether you want solid scheme or exposed carbon. Pretty straight forward........

If you are going to shoot off a tripod might be worth getting an arca mount forward of the mag well. Makes it much more balanced. Or use a bag and tac table setup.

For the recessed rail, I'd go trinity or arca/pic.

I never gave too many F's about color/look so my opinion is go with the cheapest option. Especially since if you use the gun, you'll rub the finish and need to touch it up if you want.

It’s specifically for medium length actions. It will not work with a short or long action.

Some guys use them for 6.5 PRC, 7 SAUM, 300 WSM, etc to allow for a bit more magazine room for loading longer.

I have a barreled action dropped into a 700sa clone inlet, zero bedding. Sub moa accuracy with 3 different barrels. All 6 and 65cm. If you're going with a heavier recoiling case, I'd def bed it.

Its going to be a 25-7prc so probably enough recoil to be worth bedding

6 Creed and 115 Bergers out of this gun have killed 11 big game animals in 4 states in the last month.

Little work horse hunting rifle keeps on killing with no fuss.

What's the verdict on the 115 Bergers so far? I've generally had great results with them but had one less than ideal result last month that has me potentially rethinking things here.. Would appreciate any views you may have on sample size and results for the bullet..

Seems like I’m doing something wrong because a lot of people on this site are putting up insane numbers of animals during hunting seasons, and my state’s hunting license allows only 2 antlered deer and 3 antlerless, or 5 antlerless. I need to learn how these people are getting onto so many game animas.

I think some of those were Midwest whitetail which like you can pad that total pretty quick

Maybe he came out west and popped 2 CA deer
So now you’re at 7.
Not that hard to find 4 other tags
