I have to agree. The MT magazine is at least consistent. It has never picked up my first or second round!

I really want to get some good 10-round short action magazines.

The random 3d-printed 5-round magazine I got off E-Bay works flawlessly, but it offers me nothing over the factory ones.

I got my LH within the allotted timeframe from the last order batch. LH tikka with custom cerokote and trinity rail (giving you specs for reference, not sure what is diff about your order).

Have you called them?

Shipping overseas yet?

Last time I spoke with them on the phone - possibly 9 months ago now - they initially said they weren't sure.

Then I reminded them that Jake said early on that they said they would ... the incredibly helpful woman I was speaking with said to just phone through an order and they'd get it sorted one way or another.

I haven't tested it yet, but that's at least two promises of international shipping. And yes, they did mention their Australian distributor, and yes, I did say that that option makes no sense for NZ customers as the cost is far too high ...

I have 3 Rokstok all with MT bottom metal and they’ve all needed shimming.

FWIW I vaguely remember talking to Mountain tactical on a the phone a while back and I'm pretty sure they said their metal mags work with the stock Tikka plastic bottom (in addition to their own BM).

Im my experience they work with the factory but dont feed super reliably. I have some for my 223 and my 6.5cm and both are fine going to the range but have been permanently disqualified from hunting. They started out having regular failures to feed which did get better but both hang up on the 2nd round maybe every 2nd or 3rd time.

Waters mags are expensive but awesome, the factory ones are fine

Yea, they did not feed with sufficient reliability in either my factory Tikka stock or the rokstock. I dont think they are in any way superior to the factory offering.

Thanks for the info. I haven't called them because it hasn't hit the 90 day mark and I'm not that guy. Just curious since some had already landed. I ordered a non railed version so it shouldn't be too much going on. I will probably add a small one right in front of the magazine for tripod use out of the blind.
