File a thread or two off that screw. Easy fix.
I think it just goes with the territory of aftermarket stocks. I've had Pure Precision and Peak 44 stocks that both required different length action screws. Both with factory tikka bottom plastic.Be a lot cooler if the inlet was to the correct depth.
Unless i'm missing something.. this should mean that the bottom metal is also closer to the action or at a different angle? Maybe works with plastic flexible bottom metal or needs a bunch of shimming of metal BM to get the same relationship with the action?

I’ve had similar things happen with McMillan too. We won’t even mention how far off manners can be. To be fair the manners is my favorite stock so far but it was hardly plug and play.Be a lot cooler if the inlet was to the correct depth.

Correct and this is seen in multiple Stockys inlets on both their VG and Rokstoks.Be a lot cooler if the inlet was to the correct depth.

Great meme material here for "Americans will use anything but the metric system"My Rokstok also needed the action screws shortened a nipple hair.
Shipping overseas yet?Rokstoks are now in stock again while they last:

The owner of High Desert bottom metals came over to my house to help me troubleshoot why my RokStok needed so many shims. He says that it's a Stockys issue really (similar issues in my VGs, though not as bad), in that their dimension from bottom of action to top of bottom metal is too short. That's what drives the need for so much (and variable) shimming. I even have to shim my stock plastic bottom metal on my RokStok to get proper mag engagement.Be a lot cooler if the inlet was to the correct depth.

Did he recommend a DIY corrective action beyond washer/shims or shaving the end off the screws? Would a layer of epoxy under the length of the bottom metal/ plastic solve the issue? The owner of High Desert bottom metals came over to my house to help me troubleshoot why my RokStok needed so many shims.
