RokStok

Ran to UM and Jake got me all set up with a 20MOA rail and high rings. Works perfect.

I just picked up my first Tikka and am going to order a railed Rokstok when there is a run of them. What is your pattern called, that looks right.
I asked for the three color sponge, FDE, OD green and dark brown. I then added the khaki sponge myself.

Rocks?

I'd probably leave it or if its chippy with strands I'd smooth it out with a file or sandpaper so it doesn't catch and then call it good.

If it bugs you it could be bondo'd and taped off and hit with krylon.

One of my levels looks like that. Mine is from concrete.

Cliff Gray had @Aaron Davidson on his most recent episode. Nothing really new to learn from the podcast but as usual, I appreciated hearing Aaron's thoughts on the importance of maximizing the shootability of your shooting system. Specifically, talking about the importance of spotting your own impacts, and maximizing your abilities in target acquisition. Posting here as Aaron speaks to the Rokstok specifically as part of his thoughts on the importance of negative comb and toe lines.

(Probably better for a different thread but there is also a bit of talk on drop testing. He acknowledges the good intentions of "drop testing" but caveats everything by stating that their internal data from rifle systems sold exhibits a lower failure rate for Leupold than for Nightforce. I'll stick to my tried and true NX8 but did find that data point interesting)
