I just picked up my first Tikka and am going to order a railed Rokstok when there is a run of them. What is your pattern called, that looks right.

I asked for the three color sponge, FDE, OD green and dark brown. I then added the khaki sponge myself.

Leave it? Epoxy it? Superglue?

I'd probably leave it or if its chippy with strands I'd smooth it out with a file or sandpaper so it doesn't catch and then call it good.

If it bugs you it could be bondo'd and taped off and hit with krylon.

One of my levels looks like that. Mine is from concrete.

As long as it’s not sharp or scratching you can leave it. I’ve epoxied a couple small spots on some of mine. Not a big deal either way.

Large epoxy/wood filler spot on my wood Rokstok near the toe has held up for more use than most guns see in their entire life. This was introduced by user error, the stock is insanely well made.

Went to the range and did some practice shooting kneeling off my pack/rock. 6.5 PRC in a rokstok is such a pleasure to shoot. Some first round hits on a coyote target a 622 yds.

If cerakote is as significant a pinch point as it seems, makes a guy wonder why not just have an option for stockys painting?

I don’t know that Ceracoat is a hold up, but Stockys doesn’t paint their stocks.
