Correct. If you have a CTR inlet in your stock and want to use AICS mags, you could go with a bottom metal like this. Fits CTR inlet and accepts AICS.

No, just AICS. Need to decide which mags you’d prefer and go with it. Personally, I like the CTR mags.

Since we're taking about AICS magazines...I asked a similar question upthread, but I think it got buried under shipping/manufacturing updates. Has anyone used the Tikka long action Atlasworxs DBM in a RokStok?

More generally, I'm interested in anyone's experience navigating the COAL/AICS magazine issues with Tikka actions in a RokStok (mine is currently chambered in 300 WM); any alternate recommendations would be welcome, too.

Interesting. I'm tempted to try the modification to my factory CTR bottom metal to let them accept AICS mags.

Although jamming the polymer MDT AICS pattern mags in works well for me hunting. They aren't accidentally coming out. Probably too much retention if my hands got cold though.

So the first set of spacers went on like a champ… They had #10 1-1/2” pan head screws holding it down. The second stock is different. They are using 3/4”pan head screws and some kind of adhesive, I think. All I know is the screws are way shorter and the pad won’t come off. I’ve done a little light prying, but I’m worried about cracking the shell from the pressure of trying to pry the recoil pad off. Has anyone seen this on any of their rifles? Did anyone successfully install spacers on this version of the pad?

Wood Rokstok buyers will be contacted by Mike (Alpine Rifles) directly to get LOP specs and will be wood length to spec. This stock was sent to me as an in house sample unit so I added the spacers.

I haven’t received my 6/6 order yet. I got the call that it was ready to ship last week but I asked to have spacers added. It was supposed to be completed last Friday but haven’t gotten a ship notification yet

Probably it, mine was a tikka inlet, plain carbon, trinity rail, no other options.
