Take whatever estimate they had before and add a couple months. They haven’t successfully met a timeline yet.

Agreed, wish I'd ordered a 6 pack 14 months ago when pre order opened, maybe I'd have them all by now. The form/function of the product has been 100%, pretty certain they missed every other benchmark tho. This is a team effort between UM and stockys, unknown could have more molds made to increase volume. Maybe they don't want to cut into their profit margins to get caught up, or stockys cannot allocate more man hours to the project, maybe combo of two. There's a way around these problems.

Nothing official, but when I got my red carpet call 2 weeks ago, I inquired about a rem 700 inlet I have on order and they just told me it was listed as "in production" in their system.

All 28 Green stocks will be complete and shipped to UM by end of next week 1/17/25. These will ship quickly once at UM because there is no Cerakote involved.

I’m quite certain that UM worries about a couple thousand dollars to get more molds. No doubt that’s it.

So stockys has a cap on production? You get X amount of stock X amount may have minor visual defects. I know there is a large demand. There's a big hangup somewhere in the supply chain, what it is, that's the question. I didn't say it was surely unknown, I said it could be, or stockys or combo of the two. Look at TBAC ideology, year long wait for suppressors. They certainly could increase production, but they don't. Been that way for better half a decade.

I too would be curious on what the actual hang up is? Seemed like everything was very transparent in the beginning, and now....not so much. It sucks cause I'm really rooting for UM. I like what they are attempting to do and what they stand for as a company but it's hard for me to recommend them at the moment. I'll continue to order and use the products that are in stock, as I have been fairly impressed with the quality.

They are simultaneously launching a suppressor company, optics company (?) and trying to turn around QC on their gunsmithing company in addition to custom reloading and podcasting while being HQ'd in a relatively small town/labor pool. My guess is that they just don't have trained and skilled finishing staff for the Rokstocks.
