It’s pretty permanent now. I'll swap the screws for quality stuff once it sets up and follow up with properly installed T-nuts to finish it off.
Looks like I’m not the only crazy one with a spigot. I had them cut out material under the barrel channel for mine though. Super happy with how it worked out.

I’d think you could arrange with another Rokslider or friend to have it shipped to them in the U.S. and then have it sent up as a “used” item. If I wasn’t in Alaska, I’d do that for some B.C. ‘Sliders.

That would probably be the cheapest option thanks for the idea Ben. I've been talking to UM's dealer up here and looks like he has/ will be getting some more in stock at 999 cad which is about what it cost to my door with ups. Tom's great to deal with so I'll probably go that route to get the next one faster but if there's a number 3 in my future your idea would probably save some cash on delivery for sure.
For any Canadians looking he's got a r700 sa and LA and a tikka sendero in stock in pg right now. He was supposed to have a tikka Sporter but it hasn't arrived yet or it would be on route to my house

Rok spigot

I missed that the Gunwerks bipod won't work with the trinity. I contacted UM a couple weeks ago to update my two stocks to the trinity. They should be arriving soon and I just purchased a Gunwerks to use with them along with a Spartan. That long rail looks fugly but I'd really like the ability to use the Gunwerks. Who makes that rail you had installed and did UM do it? What happens when you use the Gunwerks on a trinity, does it stay in place for one shot, 5 shots?

There’s a way around this that another slider has figured out, but I’m not sure he’s ready to talk about it yet. Feel free to PM me if you want some direction.

When Canada becomes the 51st state, trade will be much easier.

I'd take just about everything you guys have over us in a heartbeat. Lower taxes, personal freedom, less government overreach, WAY better gun laws. But your population is gross, we've flooded our country the last ten years with new people and it's almost unrecognizable now. 360 million more that could come and go as they please would destroy anything salvageable we have left. We love you guys just in small doses haha

There's also exporting issues. I live 5 minutes from the border. I could have it shipped to my US mail box and cross it myself but got forbid I'd get caught exporting it out of the US without the proper permits. I appreciate the willingness to help.

Today is a big day... my Rokstok order has officially turned 1 year old. To celebrate, I will be crying myself to sleep tonight.
Don’t worry, the first 365 days of false hope are the hardest, it gets easier after that 🥲.

I have one turning 400 on Friday and to celebrate/try to appease the stock production gods we’re going to try something different and sacrifice a Weatherby Camila stock over a floating funeral pyre in the Gulf of America.

Like I said, it totally gets easier to wait…;)

Fingers crossed the production timeline from the last update is kinda accurate, I’m running out of factory takeoff stocks to sacrifice!

Any chance you have experience with the Rokstok UM supplied pic rail and the elevate bipod. I saw in another thread the SRS RAIL didn’t lock down under recoil with the elevate bipod.

@ehayes I've been using the elevate on my rokstok, straight Pic rail, no the other trinity or fancy multi attachment stuff. The 6cm rem700 clone rokstok no slippage with the bipod locked up as tight as possible. My Tikka rokstok, 6.3# 6.5prc, it slips a small bit under recoil. This is due to the skeletonized Pic rail, not the elevate. The SRS rails aren't true 1913 picatinny spec in their construction, as they are interrupted to save weight.

Is the slip enough that you would look for a different brand pic rail that would fit in the scalloped forend?

There is no torque setting on the elevate (appropriate for the miniscule adjustment fastener hardware size) sufficient to prevent slippage with any centerfire cartridge in extended strings of fire across my N of 2. Simply put there is zero lug engagement. I can share a workaround via PM.
