I don't have either of mine yet, so I suppose only time will tell how I will feel about the fit and finish. BUT, I did make the purchase for the perceived ergonomic benefits. And I chose my finishes based off of what cost me the least money. I might not be Form, but I'll take functional over pretty all day long.

I have informed delivery. But cmon I don’t even know what service it’s shipping on. A shipping notification is bare bones cs. Like hey that thing you ordered, yup it’s coming. Subcontracting that out as the customers problem to figure out is not good.
Just create a FedEx/UPS account with your email and address. I always get tracing when a package is arriving whether the sender provides it or not.

I also recommend USPS account with mail scanning or whatever. You get an image of incoming mail that day plus any packages.

Mine red carpet card was marked as cerakoted And QC’d and honestly looks like shit. It’s fine because it’s going to be beat up anyways but I usually like my stuff to start off nice.
Exactly. All my trucks get a pinstriping job pretty quick. But if it’s scratched as shit brand new I’m not going to pat ole Ford on the back for a job well done and thank him for taking my 70k. I’m going to need some compensation to walk away pleased with my experience.

You can make accounts for USPS, UPS, and FedEx that will send you emails and or texts when you are going to receive a package, have a package delivered to you (as soon as it is scanned as delivered), and track packages you have sent. As mentioned, the USPS account will automatically email you every day with a scan of the mail that will be delivered to you home.

Folks have commented on the finish of some stocks, so I'll share.

The bare carbon from my original order is excellent on finish.

I purchased one of the "Available Rokstoks" that UM made available on 10/29 and went with a simple OD cerakote. There's a lot of pin holes/divots/surface issues in the stock that can be seen through the cerakote. It's very noticeable. It isn't a big deal to me. I bought it to use.

That said, it would be an issue for most people. I didn't see mention of those stocks being seconds or having issues. It's not something that would slip through without being noticed. I don't have an axe to grind, I'm happy to get it and put it to use, but purchasers should be aware.

I think disclosure is a big part of it. If I got a call from UM and they said hey, your stock as ordered is still 3 months out, but we have one returned or available with those specs that is rougher cosmetically than what we’d like. We could ship today. Want it? Or would you rather wait?

That’s fine to me. A trade off. Some communication regarding condition and what to expect and getting something in return for the product defects.
