Have you tried rubbing your red carpet quality control card on it?

All the guys I've communicated to, have glued em on as a fix.
Mine and @wind gypsys was just the rubber coming off the plastic. Not the two screws that hold the entire butt pad coming loose.

Those two screws are the same as the Stockys VG2 stocks. They are notorious for coming loose as they are just tapped into the carbon. The LOP kit units won’t have the same issue.

They should switch all stocks to the LOP spacer kit style instead of the standard Stockys two screws that easily strip out.

Exacrly, my screws aren't holding, been tightend to light snug a few times, but the don't grip anymore. Guess glue/oversized screw is next step.
Just over 1/4 of a year, I mean 90 days into the wait for my stok, they got about 25-70% of day 1 orders left to get it right before mine ships out. I want and expect perfection… 😜

When order bank opens up again, I'll be getting a couple more. Ones gonna become a project stock that'll be inlet for a recessed arca rail in front of recoil lug, have a local guy who works with carbon. He'll carbon glass in the flat inlet, for strength, then I'll set t nuts from barrel channel and mount the arca rail into the inlet. Arca will be seamless to the forend contour for lack of protrusion.

I was talking with a buddy about something like this the other day. I don’t know anything about it but wouldn’t think it would be that difficult to have a full length recessed arca installed? I’m sure the opposing view is that it isn’t necessary for shooting off a pack or trekking poles, while I agree for the most part it would just be a nice option to have. I’d be curious to see how yours turns out. I ordered mine with the arca/pic at the end.

I primary want something for Tripod interface to clip in to my mount. I've ran a Hnt26 which is a carbon arca rail, and they're robust enough to hold up. If they added more fiber and extra hard resin for about 6" from recoil lug forward, a guy could possible machine arca right into the forend possibly? Prob easier to have the mold modified for a molded in flat, then set T nuts and an aluminum or Ti arca rail in the molded slot for rail. Idk, maybe I'm one the few who want something like this. However my manners pro hunter, and McMillan Mtn tracker LR with arca rails in front the recoil lug are sure handy for seated and kneeling shots off the tripod.

After using an xlr exclusively this season I liked the flat bottom (this is the only time you’ll ever catch me saying that) and the full length arca was utilized once. So it is not always needed but it is a nice option to have. Not to mention it is much more comfortable to hand carry vs a stock with bolted on rail where forend width and rail are different widths. I would 100% buy a rokstok with a full-length recessed or built-in arca like the xlr/mdt. I mean if you’re going short rail in front of the recoil lug may as well go full length ya? Add that to the gen2 rokstok options 😊

Instead of a bolted-on arca rail that adds a lot more weight, what if they just molded the arca rail into the forend? Like the HNT26 carbon fiber arca rail.

That would be ideal yes, I’m just saying I’d taker either. My bravo with a krg arca rail is comfortable to carry.

I like the idea of the ARCA rail. Just think they need to keep their eye on the ball and figure out how to get first gen stocks into people’s hands before adding more options.

I’m running out of patience after committing on day 1 and the almost 11 month wait. Going to go cry in my pillow for a bit.

My butt pad is peeling off. Only the bottom 1/3-1/2 are still glued on. Anyone know what glue a guy should use to get it stuck back on there?
I have used Shoe Goo to fix a lot of things. It seems to stick to everything. I’m still waiting on my Rokstock so haven’t used it on that.
