I have a couple thousand rounds through the Rokstock now. I used it for the Cold Bore Challenge the last two mornings. This morning I used the integrated Spartan adapter with my long spartan bipod for a comfortable seated shot. Between my short Spartan and my long Spartan, I'd say I've probably taken them on and off over 500 times. It's still a perfect fit, hasn't loosened up like some of the Spartan inlets do over time.

Short bipod goes in bino harness or in pocket, long bipod gets strapped to the pack, hand carried, left attached to the gun hand carried, put down the back of my shirt like a sword, etc. just depends on the situation. I use the long bipod in actual hunting field shots more than the short whether seated or kneeling, it also works as a short trekking pole when fully extended.

I'm posting this video in the Cold Bore Challenge thread but check out how sweet the Rokstock built in Spartan adapter is! Ready for field type hunting shots in a matter of seconds, or completely ditch the bipod all together just as quickly if needed. Sorry for the audio, wind was really picking up out at the canyon this morning.

Lots of rumors being developed here........

Yes, we have returned stocks.
No, we haven't returned all stocks.
Yes, we are still shipping stocks weekly.
No, we are not shipping as many stocks as we'd like.
Yes, we at UM are picky about what leaves our shop.
No, blems are currently not available while in abundance.
Yes, we are absolutely as upset as you are about this delay in deliveries.
Yes, I am personally flying to Stockys Sunday 6/30 to help move things along and share our findings.
No, order date is not the only detail determining the order in which stocks are delivered. Delivery dates to customers are based on Stocky's production choices, which mold is needed for the stock you ordered, and more.
Yes, we have 3 variations of molds: Railed Tikka, Rail-less Tikka, and REM 700.
Yes, not one green Rokstok has been shipped. The green carbon camo layup has proved increasingly difficult to line up seams without touchup. Every process is being reviewed and improved to produce these stocks.
No, we are not trying to steal your money. Anyone wanting a refund simply needs to email us.
Yes, your Rokstok will perform fantastically once you receive it.
No, all info written in this thread is not always accurate unless from the source.
Yes, S2H, UM, and Rokslide are doing everything we can to get you your stock as soon as possible.
Yes, occasionally a team member here at UM may give out incorrect info due to constant changes and all of your unlimited inquiries through phone and email reaching different people.
No, calling and emailing will not get your stock to you any faster.
No, we still cannot provide you any update on ETA's.
No, emailing hateful messages and posting public service announcements about UM's inability to deliver stocks will not get you your stock any faster.
Yes, I understand this is the stock of your dreams for your upcoming fall hunt and you are very worried about it arriving on time. We are doing our very best to get it to you.
Yes, I understand you paid for a stock that was promised in 90 days and is now passing 180 days.
No, the current Stocky's VG thread has nothing to do with our Rokstok.
Yes, almost every issue is cosmetic due to most stocks being ordered in bare carbon.
Yes, almost every other stock manufacturer charges more for bare carbon delivery except us.

Situations like this allow us the opportunity to improve in the future and future stocks will not have any pre orders. We would take it all back if we could, but for now we are doing our absolute best to to put stocks in all of your hands. Thank you greatly to those of you that are being patient with us. For those of you talking shit and spreading rumors..........shame on you.

"you don't get a lot of chances to take prone shots in Arizona"

Man I felt that one in my soul...

Nice setup

If bare carbon is the issue, I'd be cool with picking a single color. I'm not picky. I picked plain carbon because I thought it would be easier to produce. If it's not, paint it.

Would probably piss some people off but maybe just paint them all black?

Maybe there should be another group other than the "10%ers" for folks that haven't called or emailed? "Easy goers"? "Patient ones"?
Concur. I just figured basic carbon was the easiest to get out the door, and maybe I’d paint it myself later.
Lesson learned.

Still very much looking forward to the stock, and it’s still likely a shorter lead time, at a lower cost, for a better product.

Just wanted to give another shoutout to @Ryan Avery @Formidilosus @Stockys @Unknown Munitions

I used my Rokstock for the Rokslide Cold Bore Challenge the last 5 days (4 shooting days)...

Day 1: 672 Yards shooting off backpack
Day 2: 672 Yards shooting seated with Spartan long bipod
Day 3: 920 Yards shooting prone with short Spartan bipod
Day 4: 814 Yards shooting seated with Spartan long bipod

I was able to get hits on 10" targets with each cold bore shot, shooting an old Tikka .260 hunting rifle with Maven RS1.2 and UM Tikka Rings.

Posting this here because I wanted to let folks know that each one of these unique field positions was in every way, easier to accomplish with the Rokstock. The flat bottom, properly sloped comb, grip and trigger reach, and overall hand carrying/shouldering ergonomics/balance/weight, give you an absolute advantage in every shot type you can think of.

This stock isn't "hype" or a "gimmick" to make a couple folks some bucks (which hopefully it does). It will absolutely help you get more hits down range and be a more proficient shooter/killer. If you are still waiting on a stock and are thinking of cancelling your order, I would highly suggest to wait patiently.

Feel free to check out my videos and photos in the Cold Bore Challenge Post #70, I took the time to video and explain each shot and field position and then did a separate video of the actual shots.

I wish I’d ordered one awhile back. 150 day lead time puts it so far away from
Hunting season that I just can’t do it.

Yes… but, unless this is the only year you plan to hunt ever again it will still be a good stock and purchase in 2025 and beyond. I’ve got a rifle build coming together piece by piece and I just accept that it won’t be ‘complete’ for a few months.

Makes me wonder, would ordering one now even get here that much quicker than when they are finally caught up to orders? Got just the second range trip on mine yesterday and I really like it. Intend to have another eventually but not eager to pay in full on #2 until there is more progress getting them churned out.

Jake has been as stockys this week. I will let him post the deets but they produce and shipped 30 great looking stocks this week including some 700s.

It will arrive when it arrives.

I broke down yesterday and ordered a "stand in" until the Rokstok arrives. I'm fairly patient but a 7/4 deal got my attention on an alternative so I gave in. The "stand in" will be here next week. I can only let a barreled action sit so long.

...probably the best way to ensure the Rokstok arrives quickly is to spend $ on another stock... That's not a dig at UM or Stocky's, just a standard verified by experience.

Yep - and @thinhorn_AK, just be thankful you're in the US.

Having originally said that they could ship internationally, latest from UM is that we have to wait until all of your orders in US are caught up before the rest of us can order.

I'm not complaining - UM clearly need to sort everyone else out and not create more headaches for themselves - but reckon we all just need to be thankful this project has even happened.
