Is it just me or does it seem as if the toe line/bag rider is not parallel with the forend/barrel?

I believe its because the section under the action is tapered to suit the bottom metal but forward and rearward of that is parallel with the action and barrel. The tapered part makes it look like they are not parallel

It’s obvious now the toe angle had more to do with getting proper barrel elevation to lob those 77 smk at long range!

Speaking of… @Unknown Munitions and @Stockys, could the 84M receiver made to accept a longer COAL when combined with a new stock and DBM? Something to add to your list of ideas.

A MRC will fit into a win 70 1 piece floor plate stock with some minor fitting, which includes notching out space for the side bolt release and slight fitting around the tang area.
