RokStok

UPDATE 12/13/23

New print is arriving soon and we will evaluate it this Friday. Unfortunately that means the pre sale is pushed to next week assuming everything is approved.

I had a meeting with SRS and we settled on rail options for the Rokstok that can be available for the pre sale:

The fantastic news is we can offer 4 rails that should cover the majority of your requests:

Picatinny
Arca
Arca/Pic
Spartan/Pic

These rails will be around 4.25" long and look similar to the picture I have posted below, those are not the exact rails though. The Rokstok rails will be designed just for this stock and will recess in further than the scallop slightly for mounting screw and QD cup to allow extra real estate for rail length out front. They will each have QD cup and sling stud built in to them if designs go according to plan. They will be interchangeable as well with the exception of the spartan rail needing some mill work because the boss is recessed to maintain the flush look.

All products have been updated and I'm giving you guys a sneak peak at what the product looks like below to get ready for your purchase and ask any additional questions I can field.

The rails on rokstock accessories stay some of them are out of stock and unable to add to cart. You probably know this but just wanted you to know.

For someone who has not used rails, is there a reason to choose one type over another? A sling stud is all I’ve used for a Harris bipod and, no surprise, a sling. I would want to attach a sling.

The different rail types- Picatinny, Arrca, etc are for different mounts on tripods, and bipods. So it is dependent on what you want to attach. Some clamps like RRS can do both. If you want to use your Harris all you need is the sling stud.

Should we get another 80 plus page thread started for pumping people up on a true flush fit Detachable mag from, UM?
Don’t think there’s anyway to make it a double stack so will likely be a two round magazine in order to be flush. If they could manage a 3 round flush mount, stainless magazine I’d buy them all.

Nah. Just announce a magazine that doesn't rattle, comes in multiple capacities', infinite colors, and will feed everything from 17 mach2 to 416 Barrett. Then LOCK the thread!

You could likely open the inlet to install an aics bottom metal and make the mdt polymer double stack 3rd mag fit flush. However you'll be limited to 2.85" internal.

@Unknown Munitions .

Ok since you opened the door....... Will the UM Tikka bottom metal currently under development have the same foot print as the current Tikka OEM BM? If a person buys a Rokstok now and then buys the UM Tikka BM after release, will there be compatibility issue? Finally will the UM Tikka mag under development fit the OEM BM or will the UM Tikka mag only work with the UM Tikka BM?
