RokStok

Or offer different thickness recoil pads. I put 1" Backfire pads on both of my Rokstoks and they are perfect.
Is that backfire making a noticable difference, or you mainly using it for lop?

I've read a couple reviews on RS about it compared to a limbsaver and the performance improvement seems negligible.

I got it for the LOP. It seems like it works as well as any 1" pad out there, but I have them on a 223 and a 6-7PRC, so no heavy recoil. It probably works a little better than the one that comes on the Rokstok just because it's thicker.
Both of my Backfires needed the holes opened up a bit so they would fit right.

Good idea. Don’t care how I get there.
This may help someone.

I went thru this.

My goal was to add 1/2" LOP to get recoil pins in my action and move my rings back with the Maven RS1.2 that has to be jammed up into the front ring due to tube length to get eye relief.

This one fits the existing holes with caveat that the top of it is a fingernail width down from the carbon. I can live with it. The sides and bottom still have to be "ground":

This one will only work if you fill the screw holes and install new holes, or what I was going to do if the Limbsaver didn't work out which is install t nuts and use 4mm allen bolts. That's too much work with the limbsaver being close enough.

What do you recommend for grounding?

Hey Roksliders, I just added 100 Rokstoks to the website. NO RAILED TIKKAS for this run, we are still filling those orders from the last run. Stockys has nearly all 100 of these stocks on the shelf and ready for inletting so they will be fast fill times. Thank you for your support!
