Rokstok Youth Model

My boy is 8. He's 4'9 or 10". He's been shooting an mdt chassis rifle, a 12.5" lop ruger american and my 13.5" rokstok. His favorite is the rokstok and has no issues with the 13.5" lop. I wonder how much more he'd like a 12.5" version?
Very interesting. Out of curiosity, what LOP is the MDT chassis set at?

I sent an email asking about this a few weeks back and they responded:
"The Youth Rokstok will be a variation on the Rokstok Lite. The Lite is being developed and we should have them early next year. The Youth model will happen right after that. I don’t have a hard date, but my guestimate is the Youth ought to be available sometime next Spring."

My 9yo can shoot my 223 trainer so it makes sense that the youth stock might just be a Rokstok Lite cut back to 10-11" with tapered spacers and long bolts.

His gun is cut around 10.5 and his younger brothers (6) is at 10".

Just for reference on youth stock sizing - 12” LOP is what the Ruger American gen 2s are without the stock spacer, which my 11 yr old son has been using just fine for over a year. Now that we have a tikka 6CM in a Bastion, I tried him behind that, and even with the longer LOP he’s just fine with trigger reach and scope picture. I was surprised with this.

Within a range LOP is the least important factor.

Correct or adjustable comb height is more important.
