As much as you can squeeze! Adjustable cheek comb for kids is arguably more important for kids than adults. "finding" the scope, FOV and target acquisition is a struggle with the youth. The market needs a good affordable youth stock especially for Tikkas.

I use a MDT chassis with at Magpul AR style stock for youth, it has a 5 or 6 position stock with interchangeable cheek rests. All the way collapsed its 10.5" extended 13.75" The 10.5" seems to be great for per hunting age youth, prone with 5-8 year old have sub 10 second target acquisition time with this setup. Bonus is it fits adults too.

10.5-11” would be a good place to start. The tikka compact stock is just a bit large for my 8 year old but he can still shoot it off a tripod.

Yall need to be listing your kids height, not age. My 6 year old is the size of some 12 year olds, and thanks to youth wrestling I've seen 110# 8 year olds.

10" is pretty small, I have a cricket that's cut about that short, it's worked for kids down to 39". But, there are issues being that short, namely eye relief. Their heads take up room and have some thickness.

Not sure if your looking at reducing the trigger reach as well. That's been just as important the shorter lop with my kids.

Maybe worth doing a multiple spacer system versus just the single spacer like the Tikka.
