I would be fine with it. Pads are easy to replace.

Have you guys ever looked into these pads? Not sure if they are big enough for your application.Hey All,
For those who are waiting on their Carbon Fiber Lites, I wanted to get your opinion.
For context, we've had some trouble sourcing Pachmayr grind to fit recoil pads as of the last few months. The 1" pad has been more difficult than the 0.5". We are currently looking into Kickeez pads and some others that are a similar level of quality.
Assuming we were able to obtain these consistently, would any one object/care if we used them for current and future lites? If anyone wants to wait, thats understandable, but we just want to get these in your hands ASAP.

I would be OK with a Kick-eez, so long as it is reasonably durable and provides some measure of mitigation for perceived recoil.Hey All,

They are not good, but spend your money how you see it.Could the backfire recoil pads be an option? I haven’t used them yet but they seem to be a good option and I’m about to buy a couple for my regular rokstocks
what issues did you end up having with yours? They are not good, but spend your money how you see it.
Do what you have to do.Hey All,

I shot a MDT carbon on a buddies Tikka a couple weeks back.Anyone tried a MDT Carbon? They just became available with a Tikka inlet in left hand.
30oz with bottom metal, flush cups, integrated Arca. Expensive but available.
A plus for the KRG is that you can run AICS magsA student had one at a S2H class this year. It was ok. The grip is wildly too fat and at an odd angle. The forend, toe, and recoil pad height are all the normal issues. At $300 I might, at $1,600 with bottom metal- no way.
The KRG Bravo remains the single best option if one needs a stock immediately.
Whatever works best for y’all — I’d prefer 1” if possible though!Hey All,
