Rokstok Lite

I put my 6XC into the stock to check fit and function.
It’s a tight fit on everything except the barrel, almost feels like it is bedded.
Bottom plastic took some finesse but once installed, was flush with the bottom of the stock and no visible space around the edges.

weight was 7 lb 13 oz as is…
6lb 3 oz without scope and rings.

This is a 20” PBB hybrid lite (.750 straight taper) in a 3B barrel channel, plenty of room!

IMG_0168.jpegLOP is just under 14” with the 1” pad, call it 13 7/8”.
Can’t wait to get the new rifle assembled and shooting with this stock.

Not nitpicking, just clarifying. The hybrid lite is not a .750” taperless. Those are two different profiles. The hybrid lite is a sporter profile that flares at the muzzle to allow 5/8” threads.
They briefly did that but for some time have it where it matches the tikka sporter contour by the chamber but once it hits 3/4” it is taperless after that.

Carbon Six / McGowan says they bell the end by default if you order 5/8"-24 threads on a sporter taper. They're still coming up to speed on their ECM line and have a bunch of backlogged orders to clear, but gain twist is coming.

I think it’s hilarious that gain twist rifling has been around a long time and is being marketed again.
