You were offered a refund or a replacement that is "lite". You refused and still bitch about it.

They got overzealous with the release of this one and rushed to get it done for a hunt expo. They didn't double or triple check that they were "lite". They are trying to rectify the situation. Everyone who was on the initial release are still within the alotted timeframe quoted when we placed our order. They could ship out all the completed rokstok lites at the same time on day 110 and allow for FedEx to deliver in 10 days. I honestly wouldn't blame them if they did that.

The regular rokstok release didn't go much smoother.... Some people ended up with a refund and a free stock to make up for the troubles they faced.

Regardless of what the website currently states. You cannot currently place an order, so it doesn't really matter what the specs say the weight is. Revisions happen with products all the time. This is apparent with the OG suppressor, they built that thing literally bulletproof, so now it went on a diet for version 2 and the OG gets a name change to the OG HD. No other companies participate to the extent that UM/US/S2H/Stockys does on this forum or any forum that I know of.

What is your order number- I will get you a full refund on Monday, cancel your order and send 10% of the stock cost to you myself for your troubles.

Not bitchin about my stock, nor do I want a refund. It’s a great stock, it’s mine, and I’m happy with it. I like UM, heck I bought a OG 6-S today in fact and I’m beyond pumped for it.

I’m not the bad guy for simply pointing out that UM’s marketing of a 23 ounce weight is not the reality here. Just update the website, that’s all.

How many times do you have to be told that they ARE supposed to be 23oz? UM has not received a correctly weighted stock since the first batch- the ones that do weigh 23oz as they are shot. They have offered you a refund. They have told everyone that if their stock is overweight and they don’t want it- no questions asked refund. They have stated that if someone doesn’t want a stock unless it is 23oz, they will wait and get them one at that weight. They are actively trying to get the stocks to be delivered at the stated weight, and customers are saying “don’t care, send it”. What more do you want from them given the situation?

Hundreds of people have called, and emailed saying they don’t care if the stocks are heavy- they want them. I wish guys would send the heavy ones back so I can get the stocks I need.

At this point you are just posting to start nonsense.

I didn't take any offense at Ryan's humor. and He addressed the concern well in his post to say that they will clarify weights before opening new orders again. I 'm sure it's a big pain in their ass, but it's their business so they own the issue and have to deal with their customers. Which I think they're doing a solid job of handling. and I love the Rokstok and my OG65 and I am stoked to get my hands on my OG6 too...

I thought I edited that comment but must have forgot to save. My edit was going to say I get that it’s humor but that it’s poorly-timed and targeted at the customer when it should be targeted at their manufacturer (or themselves).

I was trying be cheeky to show the discrepancy between them allegedly being pissed at the issues while then joking about the customer.

I’m not concerned on the weight. It’ll get sorted out.

People don’t care about the weight, you’re right there. And you’re making my whole point here Form. If you haven’t received a single “correctly weighed” stock since your initial test batch as you just said, then it sure seams like it’s a bit of an unrealistic spec to market..

Seems like the easy button here is just to just update your product specs in marketing to “about 25 ounces”and be done with this all.

I am rooting for y’all to deliver 23 ounces on the upcoming deliveries, I really am, and I’ll tip my cap to you if so Form, just seems like there is a much easier way to go about this. Under promising and over delivering is always the better route than over promising and under delivering.

If they come out of molds, I would think that the final dimensions should all be the same, unless they come out of the mold "fat" and are then supposed to be trimmed down in production. Or, are the outer dimensions functionally identical from a weight standpoint out of the mold and the variance is actually density?

Or, are the outer dimensions functionally identical from a weight standpoint out of the mold and the variance is actually density?

The carbon is hand laid I believe. Just having different people work on the stocks as they go into the molds will affect the weight.

Laying up fiber in a mold with complex contours is an art. This is a new design for Stocky's. Then there's the resin fill, which has its own potential variances.
