Might be here someplace, but how long (from front action screw forward) is the RSL?

I don’t have that- but, Mike measured the regular and lite from front of reciever to end of forearm at- 10.25” and 8.25”.

@Unknown Munitions is it not physically possible to inlet an r700 LA in the Lite? My 6UM is on a LA Vesper

We have not tried yet, @Stockys could better answer at this point.

The recoil lug placement on the 700 long action is at the taper point of the scalloped forend so there isn't enough material there to adequately support the LA.

The 90 short action is pretty close to a Tikka.... I'd really appreciate that for the RS lite, but I'm doubtful there would be enough demand.

To any of you guys chasing ounces with the rokstock lite, I will gladly buy your heavy rokstocks. Just let me know. Glad to help.

Probably a little early to sell off current furniture just yet.

I will for sure list 1 or 2 eventually. Not sure exactly where in my lineup cut off will be though. Im positive my 223 will be in a lite and my 6.5 prc will be in a regular.

Same. Suspect I’ll end up at 2 of each, so I’ll have one regular to sell eventually.

My RokStok Lite is ~15% heavier than the product description on UM’s website. I’m not terribly concerned about an extra 3-4 ounces but I am annoyed with UM listing 23 ounces as the starting weight when that is not the reality.

Really just wish UM would just update the product description. Expect 26-27 ounces for your starting build weights based on mine and my buddies (both picked up at Hunt Expo).

Weight: I am told there were some variances in weight for the few stocks we brought to the show. The first 3 that were made while I was at Stockys were 24 ounces with butt pad. I have asked Jessica Brown not to send any Lites that were more than 23 ounces without pad. Our grind to fit pad weighs less than 2 ounces before install. So all in all, the weight should be 24-25 ounces across the board. All posted weights are without a rail.

Which probably means a lot more rejected stocks and lower likelihood of delivering within 120 days.

i could care less about a few ounces or minor cosmetic flaws. No shade to the guys that do and I understand they expect to get what they paid for.
