Rokstok Lite

How is hand carry and off hand shooting with the 6" ARCA/PIC? Is there enough room to fit your hand between the rail and mag well? How does the stepped fore end feel when carrying?
Y'all are overthinking and over prioritizing the attachments. It's a compact field stock for positional shooting. No rail, smooth front, no sling is ideal. It carries great muzzle down tucked under the arm.

Dunno, just got it, in the context of an urban dweller that can't shoot in his yard and has 3 kids in activities so no time to drive out and shoot yet. Basement commando is the best imitation I have so far.

That stepped section results in 2 fingers on the front fore end and the other two on the transition/closer to the mag well, it feels okay though, this is just a first impression as noted. Also it was mentioned to me that if you carry it angle down and tucked into your armpit that stepped section is resting on your fingers more naturally.

That picture can’t be the 6” flush Arca pic rail can it? They said it wasn’t complete yet and that picture sure isn’t flush unless I’m missing something.

Thank you! I might reach out and see if I substitute the shorter SRS ARCA/PIC that is 4"

I think the one that is not fully designed is the full length flush ARCA only option.

Its the normal 6" SRS arca/pic rail. I don't know if they are making a different arca/pic, I think it was just a special arca rail.

The "mid length arca/pic" is what is on mine.

Why get the lite, if you don't care about extra ounces?
I’ll bite.

For me it’s more about how handy the RS lite will be on a short barreled 223. That setup was amazing to use with a prototype stock at the winter course last year. I’m more interested in the form/function and svelte feeling that the rokstok lite provides. Any weight savings is just an added bonus.

My OG rokstoks also have rails and other hardware but I’ll be keeping the rokstok lite plain, which will further help save weight.

Same. The step up to the forend on my DIY version carries in the hand very nicely and also seems to aid in positional shooting. I won’t complain about keeping it svelte though.
