Use factory bottom plastic. Metal is not needed.

Factory bottom plastic and 6PRC magazine was 3oz exact on my scale. Pretty darn light in my opinion.

The whole point of the RokStok lite is just to be lighter than the regular RokStok. That doesn’t mean it has to slum with plastic.

Adds any value? I don’t know about that. The bottom metal adds about $300 value to my rifles.

If I’m not mistaken the stockys VG2 is about 26oz without the bottom metal. So this would come in a bit lighter, but with better ergonomics. Only downside will be slight increase and cost and probably wait time. To me, they will be worth the trade off.

Yeah. I want to know the density of Stocky's fill. I wonder how much weight could be saved hogging out the fill with a die grinder and replacing it with syntactic foam. I do not think it would compromise structure, but not sure it would be worth it.

Over sized trigger guard for use with gloves. Otherwise, I agree.
