Please read the update below and see if this is something you're interested in attending. This is tentatively scheduled for late March. We've had to change locations and I'll be working with @eddielasvegas and @hereinaz to get targets up over the next few weeks. I am going to update the original post with what the "format" will be and final dates sometime soon. We will also provide the finalized date and meet up time/location for all folks who respond with "I'm attending", just know that it will likely be a weekend day towards the end of March. In order to make this worth the effort we need a minimum of 8 folks committing.

For a quick explanation see below... The plan is to have two main shooting "stations" manned by myself, @hereinaz and @eddielasvegas. If you have experience and would like to help "host" a station please PM me as we need one more "host" for the stations.

One station will be for sighting in guns with multiple 100 yard targets, and for anyone who wants to chronograph. Targets will be provided myself from Shoot2Hunt and a Garmin chrono will be provided. This station will also be for folks who want advice and tips on different shooting positions, fundamentals, using gear they'd actually pack into the back country to help them shoot, etc. This station will also be for diagnosing any equipment or "zero" issues. This station will also have multiple Tikkas outfitted with Rokstoks in various chamberings for folks to try out. Ammo for these guns will also be provided. There may also be a surprise gun that hasn't been released yet for folks to try out (still TBD).

The other station will be for practicing hunting shots and longer range shots, learning to read/call wind, learning hold over/dialing, and practicing shots from various positions (prone, seated, kneeling, shooting off rocks/branches, etc.) You can shoot as close as 100 yards or as far as 1,000+ yards for these with targets set up and provided ahead of time.

We will run some timed drills for folks interested (no pressure to shoot these) and there will be some fun longer range "challenges" with prizes being offered. These prizes include 77 TMK ammo, a S2H/UM Mollinator Bag, Shoot2Hunt Targets, and other prizes from some great Arizona based companies in LS Wild, Dice Performance Horses, Marsupial Gear, and Outdoorsmans.

Whether you want to just come and hang out and make some new buddies, or get competitive with the challenges and prizes, or just eat some venison and elk burgers and help out, it will be a fun opportunity to get outside!
Can you provide a rough location? I'd like to know how long the drive will be
