It also looks like you cut down the box to make it shorter?

And didn’t make fold over inner tabs.

Also looks like you maybe should of used more tape.

I didn't modify the box at all. It's some new (stupid) style box that amazon is using that is "made to fit your order". It happened to be the exact size I needed for the tent and poles.

But you are correct, I should've used more tape. I should've gone all the way around the box so tape was sticking to tape rather than relying on it sticking to cardboard.

And also we sell a lot of things on here that PayPal will lock both accounts for if found out on top of no protection anyways.

Not applicable to this case.

But PayPal will freeze both accounts if they find out it was a firearm part in any way. And I’m not talking just a serialized receiver.

I’m talking anything that is, could, was or may be attached. Scopes etc
Scopes too really? I have one about to get payment for via PayPal. :/

I have heard some rumors of greedy workers that will assume something of value is in the box and open them, take the item, then close it back up. Usually I have heard of that when the box has the company logo on it the item is from.

I had two different Kuiu boxes never make it, both showed tracking stopped at my local distribution center and disappeared into thin air after arriving there. The second one coincidentally had some t-shirts, a dog collar, and a 3 pack of their underwear in it from one of their big sales. No more went missing after that one.

I don’t trust folks farther than they can be midget tossed. I’ve been scammed by sellers shipping an empty box and by buyers taking things out, as well as getting the shaft from the shipper tearing up boxes. Now if I’m buying anything it has to be so much less than market value that it covers the risk, and I won’t sell anything unless it’s green cash face to face.

The things I do buy usually surprise me by how poorly they are packaged. Double boxed with tons of tape is so much better than a single box, at one point one of the big shippers’ damage insurance would just laugh at you unless it was doubled boxed.

One of our boys in college loaded and unloaded planes for a major shipper. If you don’t already know, these guys and I mean 100% of them, toss packages like Seattle fish mongers toss salmon at that trendy fish market, but without a guy to carefully catch it. It’s not a question of if it will get tossed, but how many times. If you wouldn’t feel comfortable tossing it from one end of a pickup bed to the other, it’s not packaged well enough.

Been there done that. Refunded buyer and hashed it out with ups. Got my money back but based off the hours I invested I made about 1.50 per hour. It’s obvious their play is to make it so difficult you give up on the insurance claim.
Yep, I am about a month deep on a claim for a hundred bucks.

First, they just kept asking when they picked it up. That is the problem, according to the tracking, you all never did but the store I dropped it off at, doesnt have it. They just kept asking me when the package was picked up and I kept telling them, I dropped it off on X date, no idea when you all picked it up.

Now its they need the actual invoice/receipt for the item when I purchased it. I purchased it used, years ago. I dont have any of that. They asked me how they are supposed to verify what was in the box without that information? I asked them how they can verify a random receipt is what is the box when they dont even have the damn box?

I have given up. Hundreds of online transactions over the years and this is the first time I have ever had any issues.

My suggestion, if you have to file a claim for a lost package, find something that you have a receipt/invoice for and claim that is what was in the box.

I’m an over taper . The lady at the post office thinks I am too.
Also an over taper.

It was rough around my house when my daughter was 6months to a year. Absolutely terrified of the tape dispenser and I went through half a roll on every box.
