Drew a Co tag in the secondary draw. It turned out to be a great hunt once we got away from the SxS. I discovered that I need to look at the pictures I take before we cut up an animal and walk back 2 miles to the truck. Out of 20 pictures this was the best. Glad to see everyone getting the kids out.
We went out looking for a deer the day before his birthday. This guy was hanging out 30 yards over the line. We went looking elsewhere but kept our eye on him. He jumped the fence and Merrit did his job like an old pro.
Her first hunt for herself, she’s 9 and hiked 24 miles in 2.5 days on western Oklahoma public ground and made a perfect shot at 164 yds. 6 creed 108 Eldm killed him almost instantly. Proud dad moment for sure!
First Rooster is a pivotal moment for all of us bird hunters….was awesome to share this moment with my oldest boy a few days ago. He’s hooked & so it begins…….
Backpacked in with my boy. With short time he found a buck on day three that he was happy with and made a great shot with his trusty 6.5prc. Kid is tough as nails and we one tripped camp and the deer out 5 1/2 miles. I’m super proud of him he is 75 pounds and his pack weighed 52 pounds and he never complained or gave up.
My daughter got this tom mountain lion over our hounds shortly after her tenth birthday. She put in a lot of miles on snow covered mountains chasing this specific cat before we put him up when she was old enough to legally get him.
Bridger, my 4 year old has been begging to shoot a deer all year but he’s just a little too small to do it right. But when we got a close range chance at a pig, he and his Jagd Terrier Scruffy gave it a third eye. To hear him tell it he’s now the greatest hunter of all time.
This was my first tag and big game hunt. My dad took me out and we slept in the back of the truck. We saw lots of smaller bucks and some big bucks on private property. On our 9th day of hunting we found this guy. It was a lot of fun. Hiking out was hard though.
