Tikka Compact .308. 150 grain factory Accubonds. Leupold VX3HD 3.5-10. I clamped it into my glassing tripod with a pig saddle on top. Since we hiked so much I carried both and it was a great combo to tote around.

We had a new hunter in the house this year and she was seconds away from taking a moose. Unfortunately no great trophy pics this year so there will be no three-peat.

2022 season but technically shot on 01/01/2023 in the Kansas extended rifle season.

After 5 years of waiting patiently and helping cut up a few other moose, our daughter was fortunate enough to draw an any bull tag! After gale force winds almost sent us home for the day, we spotted a nice bull bedded down and started on the stalk. As soon as we came over the ridge, another one came out and she was finally able to pull the trigger making a great 180 yard shot and harvested her first moose with her .243!

Took my 16 year old stepson on his first backcountry sheep hunt this past fall. We were lucky to find a legal ram. He kept it together and made a great 280 yard shot.
