Colorado's 1St Rifle Season starts Saturday Oct 12, Wyoming has seasons already going but more starting Oct 15.

Bad things happen when hunting elk, but recovery efforts can be assisted by using a tracking dog.

Good tracking dogs can be a God send.

Dogs are 10x better trackers than people. Always try to get a dog if you think you made a good hit and can't find it.
Any tracking groups in NM, AZ? I tried to find one in 2021 in NM with no luck.
