Just purchased my first compound bow, buddy of mine has been telling me how much he enjoys it and I figured I’d give it a whirl. Went to the shop today to get my draw weight and length set. I took my first couple shots and groups felt and looked great! I told my buddy that I should pull the arrows I just bought after each shot so I don’t accidentally Robinhood. He laughed and said, if you Robinhood I’ll buy you a dozen arrows… So with one arrow on the target, I Robinhood the next shot. Needless to say I got some free arrows today 😂

A few years ago I robin hooded twice in the same week... at 25 yards with my recurve.
This was shooting two arrows per target... which is all I did at my 3d range behind the house in order to avoid destroying arrows.🥴

It's an expensive "event" nowadays. Arrow and component prices have gone through the roof.

Congrats. It appears that you have your new bow tuned well. Enjoy the ride!

It’s definitely the best feeling that you don’t care to have again. Unless of course you can keep winning arrows for free from you buddy. In which case, it’s a great party trick!

The Mrs. wasn’t near as amused as I was when it happened
