Had a HUGE collection as a teenager, then the house burnt down. Never got around to replacing them after the fire. Dead air space is either really enjoyable or maddening depending how much your passengers are yapping.
Pandora will be a good call. But sometimes I just like surfing the radio to see what the local area is up to.

I agree. Depends on where you are going. I tend to get the subscription when I am remote and wont get any radio I like. Pandora lets you save stations to listen to when you wont get radio or cell reception.
2000 songs in total spread across several different playlists. Or I don't select a playlist and just let em play randomly and FFWD any I don't feel like listening to. I like a broad spectrum of music.
I had a little portable am/fm radio on me one year up in Idaho in the middle of nowhere and the only thing it would pick up was religious people talking or singing and Mexican radio stations. My neighbors blast Spanish speaking music so loud at times it’s unbearable. I’ve really grown to hate the sound of the accordion and tuba because of it. It usually is disappointing when the radio only comes in crystal clear on what you don’t want to hear.
