RMB Sheep Kit?

I am curious what has worked well for daypack kits for Colorado RMB Sheep? Anything that was super helpful that is a departure from the standard big game CO daypack? Anything that wasn't worth its weight?

I am trying to reduce the pack weight as much as possible while still keeping it realistic based on prolonged time at altitude in a dynamic time of the year.

Thanks for any first hand knowledge.

Ive never day hunted sheep but like you I’d want it as light as possible. Gun, tripod, glass, food, water, light source, first aid kit, kill kit, rain gear if applicable, and for me where my pack would differ is I’d have a set of down jacket/pants in case i had to sleep out there if I got cliffed out at dark.

Based on my experience last year, I would plan on a chance of rain everyday at altitude. Beyond what you would normally carry, I would just make sure that you are good with optics whether scope, binos, spotter and rangefinder.
