I just unthreaded that shoulder strap and then routed it through the pals webbing of the radio holder.

And yep I can fit a "soda" can in it so it will fit.

I've used the CamelBak radio pouch for a while. It is very well built, inexpensive and would work fine with a Rino.

I like the water bottle holder from Mount Laurel Designs for carrying my GPS (Rino 530 HCX) on the shoulder strap of my pack. Super lightweight and haven't found the GPS being wet being an issue and mine is submerged often while packrafting as such as well, so full weather protection wasn't an concern for me atleast.
