We're upgrading on my wife's 7mm sometime soon
Anyone that's used some of the ones we've looked at or other good options...
just shopping around for options to see what she likes best..

Minox ZA 5
Swarovski Z3
Zeiss Conquest
Zeiss Conquest HD5 (just curious if anyone has got one yet...)
Vortex Viper HS
Vortex Viper PST
Leupold VXR series

I have used or currently own the Minox ZA 5, Swarovski z3 and z5 and a bunch of different Conquest. I don't have much or any experience with the others. IMO the Conquest are hard to go wrong with I absolutely love them. Never had a single problem with any of mine and I have had a pile of them.

my top two choices as of now are the z3 and a conquest.

I think i'm going to buy the z3, either for her gun, if not, i'll use it on mine. I have one lined up for $689.
It is 4-12x50 with the BRH reticle.

My other top choice is the conquest 4.5-14x44 with rapid z1000.
I can get that one at $629.

I am curious if one will be that much better than the other. From what i have heard and read it seems like the z3 is clearer. it is a hair lighter than the zeiss. I am leaning towards the swaro, but both scopes seem like they would perform great for hunting.

Matt, I read your article when you first wrote it and it was very informative and helpful. I actually have a PST on my .22-250, but after reading your article i haven't stopped looking at the z3. I think this is what we'll end up with..

I have had Leupolds and Conquests on my rifles and just recently sold the Leupolds and replaced them with the Conquests
