Have we gotten a March yet?

this is the only manufacturer other than nightforce I’ve seen advertising manually pounding every scope they sell

I am very interested in the 1.5-15x42 that March has released. They have an older 30mm version but the latest is 34 mm with a tube wall thickness of 4mm. Specifically noted that it was to increase scope toughness/reliability. Still keeping the weight just under 25 oz. Two options on the reticle, standard FFP as well as a dual reticle. The dual reticle that has a FFP outer bars with SFP inner "dot". Edited to change that...the dual reticle has the dot AND cross lines in the SFP but the measurement/scale marks are in the FFP...if I'm understanding correctly... I'd like to spend some time with one....actually some time with one of each to compare.

well we already know both of these are going to fail lmao.
I'm with @JCMCUBIC
I think that March 1.5-15x42 FFP scope would make a perfect scope if the durability is there.
Defiantly would replace the ATACR 4-16x42 if its durable, optically better, and also coming in 5oz lighter.

Well, historically I haven’t seen great things from Gen III Razors, however the LRP S3 is a different scope made in Japan by a good OEM- it might be different. I agree on the March, and I think we may see one at some point. Not many people want to send a scope, and Ryan only has so much to spend for this.

yea I hear yea. I have no faith in the razor, might as well use it as a boat anchor.
hopefully the LRP S3 pulls through but I'm thinking its going to have the same outcome as the LRP S5.
but hopefully you guys can acquire a march for testing down the road!

@Form do you have any experience with the Burris XTR 3’s? With your testing that is the last scope I have (on a competition rifle, not hunting) that is not Nightforce or SWFA.

I would hope with them being made in America they would be decent but that sure isn’t the case for Leupold. Contemplating replacing it with a swfa 5-20 or ATACR

Thanks!

I’m curious about them as well. Is it possible for you to send yours in for testing?

I’m planning on shooting it again for the Nightforce challenge in June. Not sure what the time requirements are but I’m open to it.

I sent Ryan a PM about testing the 1-6 Huskemaw I mentioned a while back on this thread. He did not reply, he was probably either not interested in that model or busy. No big deal I just didn't want everyone to think I offered and then did not follow through.

Send another message. He lost his phone for a bit.

I apologize. Right now, I have 200 unanswered PMs. It's a numbers game. I can only answer so many, and the squeaking wheel gets answered first, unfortunately.

No problem, I know you guys are swamped. If you want it down the road sometime I'll make it available.

Any interest in a Burris Veracity (not the brand new one with HUD)? I have one I would send in. Can confirm it does lose zero when it flies out the bed of a Razor on a 12 lb prairie dog gun going 35. Not sure on its fate at a mere 36”. Happy to send in if any interest.

I'd really like to see the new apex hunter treated. It's a 3-15×44 mil scope. It's sold out of Alberta canada and has pretty good specs. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one shortly.

Agreed. I look at it every couple days online lol. Just don't want to be the test pilot!
