If it were FFP/Mil I'd have one. Generally pretty impressed with S&B's.Thanks! Man, I almost like that sucker. Definitely like the weight!

As it is, the 3-12 P3 is a dandy FFP hunting scope. Little limited on travel, but fir flat shooting rounds its not really too limiting.
I wonder if it could be sent in and have the reticle swapped. It would still be sfp but it would be more usable for holdovers/wind holds.I was very surprised when I first saw the 3-18 and saw it was SFP with a non-measured reticle. I can still only shake my head. Were it FFP with a measured hunting reticle S&B...and reliable...it would be very close to being "the" hunting scope.
Has anything from Huskemaw been tested that I missed?
I never got the test done on my own and we are busy calving now. I have the 1-6x24 Huskemaw off the rifle and could sent it in if there is interest in that low powered of a scope? If you want to test it let me know where to send it, if not that's fine too.
I bought the scope used off Ebay and it was pretty beat up when I got it. I put it on a short 308 and zeroed it, shot a few coyotes before deciding I wanted a little finer reticle. I have not done any testing of the scope past that.
How about an SWFA 1-4? Or some LPVO's in general.
Form, I read in another thread you said they didn't hold up to recoil well and that they weren't okay for .50 cal. How about a suppressed 308 bolt action?
Purely looking to confirm my biases, are the 1-6 accupoints as tough as anything else out there? The current SWFA Classic 1-4x does fine on 5.56/223 from quite a few that I’ve seen- some used heavily. They probably aren’t going to pass the full drop eval however, and I know of a couple that didn’t survive 375 H&H’s and 458’s Win’s. Of course, I know of a couple/few people that are using them on big guns with no issue. Their 1-6x HD is a very reliable and durable scope.
What LPVO’s would you want to know about or see? I have more data/experience with LPVO’s than everything else combined.

No. They generally work without much fuss, but they are not the same as say the NF NX8. For most hunting use they serve well, however if near bombproof durability is the goal, they are not in the same class.Purely looking to confirm my biases, are the 1-6 accupoints as tough as anything else out there?

Recommendation for safari 375 H&H?No. They generally work without much fuss, but they are not the same as say the NF NX8. For most hunting use they serve well, however if near bombproof durability is the goal, they are not in the same class.
The 1-8x’s are generally very solid. I’ve seen 14-16 of them used heavily. They work. The 1-6x is as I wrote 9.3- generally a good scope that works about like most believe scopes do.

There's not a specific one that I have in mind. I'm just looking for something with a friendly eyebox, lower magnifications that is drop proof/kid proof. Mil reticle. I could live with SFP but would prefer FFP. Part of my thinking is that when I dryfire with my Burris Fullfield II 2-7x35 it's easier to get behind than my SWFA 3-15. I'd like my kids to have a scope that easy to use. My hunch is that the fullfield wouldn't pass the drop test, although they are well spoken of on 24hourcampfire.What LPVO’s would you want to know about or see?
