Rifle scopes you'd love to see Form test

I'm gonna guess it beats the Vortex LHT and survives the 18 inch drops but fails after first 3 foot drop.

Nope. Purely a random guess. I have zero experience with Arken scopes. But I'm happy to see one is getting tested.

As best I can tell no chinese optic has done well in the drop test. I doubt this will do well.

When you can get SWFA scopes at such low prices at the moment I wouldn’t consider a chinese scope if it did pass.

I’ve seen a bunch, I have never seen one hold zero from a drop.

My pst g2 holds zero during the course of a match or range trip, but its a rare day I dont have to rezero when I first pull it out. To the point that I always set the zero stop at least half a mil below my zero so I can just re-set the turret cap to zero without having to deploy the miniature allen wrenches every time.

Why do you still use it?

Because its on a .22lr that I use exclusively for casual prs-style matches and as a range toy, takes me 5 minutes to zero and then Im off and running. Based on friends that own them its typical. At some point I’ll send it in to vtx to get a clean bill of health or replaced and find it a new home, but given my use the cost of it behaving this way is much less than replacing it.

Not saying that there's anything wrong with Chicom scopes, but I don't buy them. To each their own though, and not saying that I never would.

One area in which I give a lot of the Chinese scope importers credit is that they seem to be more receptive to the reticles and configurations shooters actually want. Specifically, they're offering well designed FFP/mil set ups with locking turrets.

There's a few scope companies from which I'd like to purchase more products; but they're still stuck on MOA and SFP in their more hunting centric lines, such as the new S&B model. And then there's a few who do offer FFP/Mil reticles, but they aren't all that well designed for general hunting use, such as the new last year TRACTs.

Such as it is, I'll likely keep buying more SWFA's. They're nothing flashy, but they are impressive in the most important way (They work), and thier MQ is about as good of a FFP big game hunting reticle as I've used.
