I called the other day and they said it will go all of 6 months, so if I’m looking at October I’m looking at 7. If that’s the case I’ll be carrying my action in a krg bravo, which I really don’t want to do, but won’t be the end of the world

Yeah, I’ve pretty much resigned to the fact that I’ll be hunting with the factory stock this year.

Still waiting, coming down to the wire and looking like I’ll be lugging around the chassis this year. That said it’s not the chassis that sucks, it’s the damn aics magazine.

I have another eta request in, Iv decided if I don’t get it by the 20th I’m just going to run with the chassis.

I’m over 6 months now.

on 9/6 I was at exactly 6 months, I emailed them and they said 2 weeks until production. Not sure how long after that until I get it, but I am guessing it will be a full 7 month wait.

Dang, I’m 2 days ahead of you. I’ll report back when I get my eta request back. Even worse is I’m going to have to figure out how to get them to hold onto my stock for a while if it will be that long, as I only will be home for around 6 days all of October, if that.

I hope it’s worth the wait

Manners is terrible with their estimations. Waited almost 8 months for an EH2 this year and it wasn’t even correct. Had to send it back.
I highly doubt that I’ll be ordering any others. I do like their stocks a lot though.

I’m giving McMillan a shot too, got a stock ordered for my tikka 223. They said 4-6 months too.

Between two stocks, and a suppressor, I guess I’ll get used to waiting.

Shooting with a krg bravo has me wanting a vertical grip on everything, especially guns with some recoil.

Which Mcmillan did you order for your Tikka? They are usually pretty good about their time frames.

An adjustable game scout, with some extras. Rail for bipod; and in front of the bottom metal for my tripod and a couple flush cups. Hoping to get rid of the poi shift Iv seen when shooting different positions with the t3x lite stock.

Lawnboi,
You and I have pretty similar tastes. About a month back I ordered a Game Scout for my Tikka too.

And no EH1 yet for me either.

Stock is complete, paid for and told it would be shipping soon. It might make it in time.

I still haven’t decided if I want to play with it, or leave the gun on the bravo chassis for hunting season. The gun is stacking them in the chassis, but I really hate the aics mag sticking out the bottom, pain in the ass to carry, and that it runs 12 pounds, so that doesn't help either

I got an email saying 2-4 weeks and call for payment, shortly after I got the it’s complete email. Got tracking and I’ll be playing with it this weekend

How long between the 2-4 week email and the stock is complete email? I was getting excited thinking mine might be close but I haven’t even got the 2-4 week email yet.

Get some of the magpul acis compatible mags, they are cheap, weigh less and not metal.

Alright, got the stock on. Took a while, not quite bolt and go but got it fitting. As far as the bdl mini chassis, the action fit fine, but Christensen bottom metal is not the best fit, though it does. I did have to file away some material for the side bolt release, so as with other rem 700 stocks I still ended up having to. I’m sure manners would have done it but it was a simple job with a few files and some patience.

Next the bdl, the CA bdl fits a little interior of the front of the cut. Still works fine, had to do some little file work for the bottom of the door, and a hell of a lot of mag box shortening

Once all together I snugged the front action screw to 60in lbs and the rear to 45, as I had read on the web(no instructions from manners, but I plan to call and confirm Monday. Headed to the range. Once settled in it was back to a 1 hole gun at 100 yds, held a minute at 200 and that’s the farthest I went for the night.

Pic rail in front of the mag well is awesome for clamping on the tripod.
Weight ended up at 37oz for the eh1, bdl mini chassis, 2 flush cups, 2 studs and a short badger rail.

Very happy with the ergos. I’ll keep it as is till next spring when I’ll play around with a better fitting floor plate

Anyways some pics123696

I just called and paid for mine...I am planning on taking it straight to a gunsmith for the stock work fitting and bedding it...looking forward to see if that has it fitting any better.
