I sent them an email and they confirmed they can inlet for the Christensen Arms action. They said to just put that in the remarks if you order online, as that action isn’t an option in the stock builder. He said approximately 6 months wait time.

That’s awesome. I asked them a couple of years ago about a Borden inlet (also same as Rem700 but with side bolt release) and they told me to call a gunsmith. McMillan said absolutely without a stutter.

Yeah, I’m pretty stoked to get one ordered. Now I’m just trying to decide if I should go with the mini chassis or not. I wasn’t aware you could do the chassis and BDL bottom metal. I thought the chassis necessitated running a DBM. Any one care to share their thoughts on the chassis setup versus without?

The chassis is a nice feature if you aren’t going to bed the action. If your going to have it bedded IMO you don’t need the chassis. Just pillar bed it.

Thanks.

I got an EH1 ordered for my mesa, ended up getting the bdl mini chassis.

I took off my CA stock to measure the barrel contour, and ended up finding out that my stock is cracked, and looks like I was getting some serious barrel contact due to flex. So I’m hoping this stock really shrinks my groups.

Going to try and get mine ordered tonight. Decided to go with the BDL chassis aa well. What are guys with Ridgelines ordering for a barrel contour? Proof Sendero? Sendero Lite?

Just a suggestion. AG composite stocks are just as nice if not a little nicer and have a shorter lead time. They are inletting for more and more options as they go. You should at least check them out.

I looked at the Alpine Hunter after you suggested it but only saw the 700 inlet as an option. If they’re inletting for CA’s now I’ll have to give that a harder look. What barrel contour did you order with your Ridgeline Ryan?

M24. I just checked my Alpine Hunter inleted for a BigHorn SR3 and the Ridgeline bolt release sets below the stock line. If I were you I would call and talk to Matt. I can't speak for them but I would bet they would inlet for the CA because it seems to be a popular stock replacement.

I just traded emails with Dave (owner) and they do not inlet for a CA Ridgeline. I also did speak with manners and mcmillian and they do.

Guess I have a 6 month wait ahead of me...now the $1M question is an EH1 or a Game Warden...

I personally prefer the less drop on heel and toe of the Manners and AGs.

AG Composites will hopefully see the demand for Ridgeline owners who want a different stock, I’d likely be in line for one as well if they did. If they don’t do it soon, I could also be waiting 6mo for an EH1.

On a side note, and I ask since there are Ridgeline owners browsing this thread, has anyone added a Wyatt’s mag box to use with their Ridgeline? Whether it be in the factory or aftermarket stock? I need the 2.995” the Wyatt’s would give me and will be looking to add a Wyatt’s and new stock, or perhaps a Manners with mini chassis then run WSM AICS mags.

I was tempted by the mini-chasis, but I just did the regular BDL inlet to save weight. But, when I get my stock around the time you get yours, I will have to wait another 6+ weeks to have a smith bed it for me and you'll be out shooting :)

I have a Game Scout and Game Hunter, much prefer the Game Hunter. Worth looking at the Game Hunter if you haven’t.

That’s the plan. Hoping to be hunting with it this fall, so I don’t have to steal my wife’s tikka. Weight doesn’t matter to me much as long as I’m around 8-10lbs I’m happy

Hopefully all goes smoothly and it bolts in as manners says it will. If it works good I’ll probably end up ordering another inletted for a tikka

Any updates on the stocks? I’m still waiting, just over 5 months now

Funny you ask as I just emailed Manners this morning and they said early October for mine. On Broz’s site a guy just posted a pic of a Ridgeline in the exact combo I ordered (EH1 in Midnight Camo) and it looks SICK!!! It’s making the wait even harder.

I called the other day and they said it will go all of 6 months, so if I’m looking at October I’m looking at 7. If that’s the case I’ll be carrying my action in a krg bravo, which I really don’t want to do, but won’t be the end of the world
