Revic’s rangefinders are most consistent/best performing commercial LRF units on the market in my experience.

That's what I want to know. Far Mode is supposed to help with fog, smoke, etc.

I like the extra zoom it has over my Bushnell and it's very accurate and fast. Ranges consistently further than my swaro EL range TA's too. So far I've only used it in about 30-80 degree weather but it never had a problem with that or some light fog. Havent tried it in dense fog

I've used mine in decent fog at -10 and had zero issues. It's almost perfect for my uses, if it was a bit smaller it would fit into a greater variety of cases but that's my only half assed complaint. It's plenty compact considering the features it brings to the table.
