Been doing a ton of research on the Revic and are about to pull the trigger on one! Just looking for some others input on the unit. Do you like it? Any complaints? I am purchasing to use for ELR but I’m also a big archery hunter. Does the angle compensation work well enough at close distance? I called them and the guy didn’t seem to be to confident it would do what I’m looking for. I figured with angle compensation it would be just fine. He stated at like 20-30 it would be fine but once you get to 40 yards it may not be perfect. Just looking for some more insight before I drop the $!! Thanks guys!

IMO, the Revic BR4 is the best range finder on the market currently, for rifle hunting NOT BOW Hunting.

Pros:
- Great laser/target acquisition, even more so in poor weather conditions (rain, snow, etc)
- User profiles
- Interface
- Superior glass/magnification
- Lens cover (personal preference)

Cons:
- still bigger than all other rangefinders. I would NOT use this to bow hunt with. TOO big and there are better options with angle compensations etc for bow hunters. This is not a bow range finder at all IMO
- Lacks auto light dimming/brightness (my biggest pet peeve)

Keep in mind, you don't buy a rangefinder because of the glass/optics.

You look at functionality for use (bow/rifle/spotter for shooter), consistency, and speed of range to target.
