Revic BR10 error on new profiles … anyone seen this?

Worked on this today. I've identified one major bug in version 5.4.1 (8). Manual BC is not working. Creating a profile with the bullet library works for all cases. Truing should be done with MV. I'll have 5.4.2 out with fix approx this weekend.

If I could get the DRT 135 and 79, I’d be set

Had an issue with my Gen 1 today… things were good but I noticed a sudden difference between the app and the binos. Tried to make some adjustments and now the binos range but give 0 for drop and wind.

Tried deleting all the profiles, replacing the battery, deleting the app and reinstalling. No luck

The app still gives correct data. But that won’t help me hunting or at a match on Saturday. Planning to give them a call to see if I can get back to a baseline stop data, or the software update fixes it

I think you can also try to use a bullet from their library. It seems that the new app has a problem if you put in a new profile and manually enter the bullet info. What bullet you running? Also, you can have someone with the older app create a profile and QR to you and use it. That seemed to work also.

I’m using Berger 144s. I just did that and I do get ranges with drop and wind data. Also, based on the post here decided to update my MV (even though it won’t match my Garmin chrono) to get drops that are pretty dang close to what my real world results are.

I would be careful doing so. When I changed data the BC didn’t change in my binos… only on the calculator in the app.

Good point… that’s what I need to verify next.

I’ll have a hard drop card for the match tomorrow either way as a backup

It seems that this whole "delta" between apps, as well as delta in the bino itself, has lead me to the "pick one and use it" similar to archery. Seems that all the environmental play a part, and trying to get those all to sync is hard. So going to just use the Revic and stick with those. Gonna have to have a "best guess" for Quick drop though.

Once you fill out the caliber stuff, on the Ammo dropdown, it will give you a list of manuf and bullets to choose from.

thanks. Created a new profile and found the dropdown box after I selected the caliber.

Out in Wyoming, got here today, elk hunt starts tomorrow and I broke out the br10b and I now have the same issue - BDC reading 0 when I range a target. Really sucks for the hunt tomorrow….

Pushed 5.4.2 today to android and iOS. Watch for it this week. Should address all known issues.

Also, check firmware version. Some early br10 have 2.2, we now have 2.4 (significant range improvement). call CS 307-296-7300 for arranging return for update. No cost to you and we'll cover return shipping.

How do you tell the Firmware Version? mine says FW: 1.133 on the app when I connect to it

Take a range so you have some data on the display. Press and hold Mode, and then press fire. That enters measured values menu. Look for firmware and hardware versions there.

I feel like a techno neophyte! When I get a "range", "then Press and hold Mode|, it just cycles through the wind adjustments, I don't get the "measured values" menu. Any suggestion as to what I am doing wrong?

What I did:

1. Range an object, and then take finger off Range button, but display still shows
2. Press mode (top on left side) ... then it takes me to changing the wind speed

***UPDATE*** Figured it out. From the manual "To access previous range data: While holding the MENU button -> Press the FIRE button -> Release both buttons simultaneously."

Looks like I have 2.4

After taking a range, you press [Mode] + [Fire] buttons simultaneously to see the details of that range. Cycle through those and you'll see firmware as an option.

Same issue here. First of all, no mode button... I have Fire and Menu on the right, Up/M and Down/F on the left. If I take a range and hold down menu, it goes into the menu... If i take a range, then hold down menu and fire, the range dissappears and nothing happens.

****UPDDATE**** Thansk @philcox, for reading the manual... LOL. simontaneos release was what i was missing. Range a target, Press and hold Menu, hit Fire too and release both at the same time. Scroll to find FrMW.... Mine is 2.2. SN 00152 if it helps anyone else.
