Revic Acura BR10 Gen 2 Binoculars

Somehow cycling the binos to a different profile accidentally with the sigs seems damn near impossible. Having used the revics for a whole season last year I found that when I’d go to the range and I selected the profile it wouldn’t always “sync” that profile and you’d not know it until the dope seemed off. Maybe it was user error, but I think the app could be more idiot proof.
As much as we all carry our phones with us there have been times I’ve gone to the range and forgot my phone at home. Hasn’t happened on a hunt but if it did and worst case scenario I was shooting my 223 last but didn’t change it back over to my 22GT after that range trip I still wouldn't have to worry about it. That is more likely to happen than switching profiles accidentally at least in my opinion.
Cycling through buttons and looking at a bino display is not the way to go. Again. It’s clunky and slow and there is minimal need for the binos to have multiple profiles stored from a hunting perspective.

I almost never have my phone on while hunting either. It’s in my lid turned off. Again, I’m not carrying multiple guns. I’ll have 3 or 4 in the hunting rig and one gets grabbed, profile synced and it’s up the mountain.

I had the revics for a week and a half. I thought the were very good. I compared them to the swaro nl pure 12x42s. I didn’t see much difference in low light, being able to identify objects, from 1500 to 2500yds away till way past legal light. They aren’t nl pure edge to edge quality but I was impressed with them. Ended up making the decision that I’ll stick with the swaro nl pure and revic br4 combo. Still questioning that decision. If I didn’t have the swaro and br4 already and needed binos and a rangefinder, these would be a great choice.

I really like the simplistic screen in the bino compared to the Sig. The sig has too much info and is cluttered. I'd almost say the Revic has the best display of data of anything I've used.

Are we talking about the Gen 1 or the Gen 2 Revics here?

It is what it is, I prefer having the option on the bino as opposed to not. I find it more convenient than having to pull out my phone to change profiles. Then again I shoot 90% of my animals prone in mountainous terrain without having to rapid deploy my rifle system in T-5 seconds before they escape over the next ridge.
